Peru

Peru is located in center of the Illinois Valley. The Illinois Valley covers 700 square miles and has an area population of approximately 41,000 which consists of 23 cities/villages located within the counties of LaSalle, Bureau and Putnam.  Illinois valley is well known for being home to 3 Illinois state Parks offering camping, fishing, boating, hiking.  Also being home to Maud Powell, America’s first great master of the violin. Illinois Valley also is home to 2 major hospitals and Illinois Valley Regional Airport.
